In different countries in all cultures and traditions, throughout the continents, there is something that unites children and makes the truths of Christmas meaningful- faith that dreams will come true. When a child receives a gift he often says: All my dreams have come true!!!
This is impossible without sacrificial love. The only true meaning of Christmas: Jesus the baby born in a Bethlehem manger brought forgiving love and hope to our world.
This amazing project, embodying spontaneity and imag-ination, the kindness and unselfish love of Christmas, is based on the virtuous life of St. Nicholas. In the early days of Christianity this kind priest threw gold coins down the chim-ney of three starving girls at night time. So the tradition of Stuff a Stocking was born.
From heart to heart, charity and an involvement in someone else’s life unites people of different countries, nationalities and denominations.

 Across Russia millions of children are in crisis, lack hope and have never heard of the Lord Jesus Christ. What joy it will be this Christmas to give gifts to these needy children, and also share the hope of the Gospel. To accomplish this, SOAR International Ministries in partnership with Russia Inland Mission created the "Stuff a stocking" project.
The "stuff a stocking" project is the result of two years of prayer and research into ways of overcoming the increasing expense and nearly impossible red tape involved in importing gifts and aid into Russia. This exciting project has not only thrilled Russian believers but has also received the praise of many Russian government officials.
The "stuff a Stocking" project is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child in Russia. Your stocking will bring joy to those who have no hope, plant seeds of faith and show them God's love in a tangible way.
