Sports is an international language which unites the world and no other kind of sport grasps the heart like football. The language of sports, the language of football, is today perhaps, one of the most widespread languages. Football helps us to overcome ourselves, to play in harmony as a team and to aspire to a victory. All these qualities are important. All people, even strangers, are united, easily playing together or cheering for their favorites players. A sport unites people in the spirit of competition, aspiring to one purpose, the joy of a victory. But there is a language which not only unites people, but also helps them to be changed, to be born again. It is the language of love which is revealed in compassion. Only with love a man can experience joy of sharing and self-sacrifice which even the most outstanding achievements in sport would not give him. This is what the Bible teaches to us.

Sports projects which are carried out with the organization Russia Inland together with partners combine sports and spirituality, to reflect human aspirations, to teach an enthusiasm for sport, giving and mercy.

The football project has been carried out annually since 1995. It has successfully been implemented in many countries. Several cities and a thousand people have taken part in each football project. They are carried out not only for children and teenagers, but also for military men, convicts in prisons and detention schools, and those who are in constrained circumstances. Sport projects are a continuation of the international charitable action “Operation Christmas Child” which in Russia has been carried out since 1992 and in this time has reached more than 2 million children from Kaliningrad up to Chukotka.
