Samaritan’s Purse International is a nondenominational Christian organization.

For more then 30 years it has been providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people, people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine. Samaritan’s Purse was founded in 1970 by Bob Pierce. Traveling throughout Asia as an evangelist and journalist, he saw a mission for ministry – caring for the poor all over the world through supporting other Christian agencies, missions and churches. After Bob Pierce died in 1978, Franklin Graham became his successor. Since then offices of Samaritan’s Purse were opened in Canada, Netherlands, Germany, Australia, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. At the present moment, David Vardi is the head of the U.K. Office of Samaritan’s Purse International. One of the most extended projects of the organization Operation Christmas Child.
