International Soccer Festival
Master Class for Children
Moscow, Pokrov, Vladimir, Bryansk, Alexin, Tula May 26 - June 4, 2003

Veterans of soccer Clubs of the U.K., such as Birmingham, Crystal Palace, Derby County, Everton, Gillingham, Liverpool, Shrewsbury, Watford, and others, together with Arthur White, three times World, four times European and six times British heavyweight power lifting champion, the author of “Tough Talk”, and volunteers – amateur soccer players from the U.K. conduct demonstrative trainings for children. The Project is supported by Soccer Clubs “Liverpool” and “Manchester United”.
As part of the Project there will be demonstrative trainings and games with children. Each child participating in the trainings will receive a diploma, and a booklet with the stories about soccer and soccer players. The best player in a group will receive a special price - souvenir with the logo of “Liverpool” Soccer Club. 24 600 children from Moscow, Vladimir, Tula and Bryansk will participate in the Soccer Project, including 6 700 children who will participate in demonstrative football trainings.
The Soccer Project has been held regularly since 1995. It was successfully performed in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Hungary, Georgia, Belorus, the Ukraine, and in Yugoslavia. Dozens of towns and thousands of children has participated in the Soccer Holidays. The Soccer Project is a continuation of International Charity project “Operation Christmas Child”, which has been held in Russia since 1992 and by that time helped more that 1,5 million children from Kaliningrad to Chukotka.
